Oh mermaids, we have been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a beautiful new pattern collection- Best Friends Collection.

Our Best Friends Collection is a whimsical, comfortable, classic girls collection, inspired by our favorite boutiques. You have the option to go over the top with fancy frills and embellishments or stay practical with patches and pockets.

There are a total of 5 patterns that mix and match together superbly. Up first is Stacey top. It includes sizes 1/2 to 14. The Stacey top is the perfect knit top that can be fancy and frilly or simple and sweet. Choose from 4 sleeve options- short, 3/4 hemmed, 3/4 roll up with tabs or long sleeve. Includes a bib option with ruffles that is perfect to add coordinating or special fabric. Stacey also includes optional chest pocket and elbow patches. The bib, bib ruffle, chest pocket and roll up tabs can all be made from knit or woven fabric. The neckline is finished with knit binding. Mix and match as many options as you want for the perfect boutique blouse or leave simple for a quick, everyday top.

Up next is the Skipper skirt, which you saw sneaks of during out Back to School blog tour back in August! Again, includes sizes 1/2 to 14.  The Skipper skirt is a versatile tiered skirt pattern. You can use knit or woven fabrics for your skirt or a combo of the two. You can choose to have built in knit legging in several lengths- perfect for playground and school play. Shorties, capris or ankle length legging options all included. You can also leave the legging off for a stand alone skirt. The construction leaves you with a beautiful finish you’ll be proud of. Use the tiers to mix and match coordinating fabrics and a great way to use up scraps. 

Next we have an update to our Hailey pants. Includes sizes 1/2 to 14.  This is such a fun pattern! Soft knit waistband is comfortable and practical. Includes both shorties and pant length. Use a ribbing, cotton lycra or lycra spandex, something with 75% stretch for the waistband. The legs, waist ruffle and bottom ruffle can be made in either knit or a woven. Or try using a sweet lace for the waist ruffle. Waist ruffle meant to look like an undershirt. No side seams make for a quick sew and great for prints. The perfect pants that aren’t too wide or narrow. Note if you have already purchased the Hailey pants, you will NOT need to repurchase, you will receive the update. Hailey now as an improved fit, shorties length, layers and our new tutorial format. 

Next we have another update, Rose Ruffle top. Includes sizes 1/2 to 14. The Rose Ruffle knit top comes with two sleeve lengths, mid or long sleeves. Perfect for layering with dresses, adding HTV/appliques or everyday wear. Quick and easy to put together, this will quickly become a staple in your daughter’s wardrobe. Hem the ruffle, leave it raw, add a rolled hem or lace. Even add a double ruffle or triple ruffle for more frills. Easy and simple to change up. Again, if you have already purchased the Rose, you will not need to re-purchase. The Rose now includes layers and our new tutorial format. 

Last is our Barbie Headband, the ideal accessory to top off your daughter’s outfit! Sizes 1/2 to 14 included. Barbie is a wide knit headband with 3 flower options. You can leave your headband plain or stack the 3 shabby flowers on top. It is the fabulous way to use up scrap fabrics and coordinate your little one’s outfit. It’s quick, easy and really puts the outfit over the top.
