Today we are going to break down the new Stacey Top and Skipper Skirt patterns from the newly released Best Friends Collection! They are inspired by our favorite boutique looks and can be dressed up with ruffles and frills or can be made to be simple and sweet. Let’s take a look at each pattern…
Stacey Top~ A knit top in size 1/2-14. The neck is finished with a binding. Short, 3/4 or roll-up length, and long sleeves are included. Optional chest pocket, sleeve tabs, elbow patches and bib and bib ruffle are available.
Bib~ Check out the blog for tips & tricks to embellish your bib. There is no limit to your creativity here! You can use ribbons, fabric strips, lace, buttons, embroidery, appliques and more! A few of our testers used trim or lace to finish the edges of their bibs instead of fabric ruffles and the results were simply stunning!

On to the Skipper Skirt! Skipper is a multi-tiered skirt that can be made in pretty much any knit or woven. It’s available in size 1/2-14 as well. Skipper has an elastic waistband that is covered with skirt fabric giving your daughter a comfortable, clean finish on the inside. You can choose to add attached KNIT shorties, capri or ankle length leggings. If you want to forego the leggings, no problem! There are instructions on making Skipper a stand-alone skirt!
