Feelin' Hot to Go with this jersey upcycle! 🔥⚾ Using the #sagepattern as a base, I added a 1" elastic to cinch the waist and raise the hemline, then finished it off with a faux drawstring tie—perfect for my cheering and snapping photos at my son's baseball game. Help! 🤣 I grabbed a couple of my son's baseball jerseys to upcycle, and now I'm completely stumped on what to make them into. Should I go for a cute t-shirt dress? Maybe something with a more fitted bodice and little gathered skirt? Should I do two different styles or just make it easier on myself and choose the same pattern for both? I definitely want to keep the neckline intact and not cut off any of his numbers or the team name. Normally, I'd ask my sister @patternsforpirates to help me decide, but she's taking too long to reply! 🤣 So, I need your help – what do you think?
I really got into sewing when my daughter was born, and over the years, I’ve sewn her countless dresses, princess costumes, and everyday outfits. But there’s something so special about creating dresses for those big, memorable moments. 💖 Growing up, my mom made me my homecoming, prom, and even my wedding dress — and now, being able to carry on that tradition for my own daughter is a dream come true. 🥰
