We’re starting something new and fun this year… Flash Back Friday! We will be featuring a pattern OR mommy & me pattern set that may be older or that we don’t see popping up in our group a lot. We will give you some inspiration, have a FLASH sale and a FLASH contest! It’s going to be a lot of fun. We’re so excited to give you some motivation to dust off some of those classic M4M patterns and put them to use. The sale will last only 12 hours- from noon to midnight cst. The pattern/s will be only $5!!! {A steal!} We will also be hosting a #m4mflashback contest on our Instagram, Twitter, Facebook Page and Facebook group. You just need to sew up the featured pattern anytime from Friday to Sunday night, post on any platform above with the hashtag #m4mflashback plus the pattern’s name [example: #blairpattern #mamablairpattern]. A random winner will be chosen to receive 2 patterns of their choice on Monday morning… hoo ray!!

Now all that is exciting, but that’s not it… our featured pattern/s will also be updated with our new paper size options- A4 and A0. A4 is for our international users and A0 is a copy shop size if you want to print all the sizes at once and not tape them together. Please note the layer feature does NOT work on A0 option which is something to keep in mind. To get the new files, simply log into your account and re-download. Each pattern now has 3 different files. If you purchased from Etsy or Craftsy and would like the updated sizes please email help@madeformermaids.com with proof of purchase.

Now on the the good stuff… our first patterns we’re featuring are our Blair and Mama Blair top & tunic. These patterns are a raglan style with a v-neck and FULL of options. It was also sponsored by Raspberry Creek Fabrics and all the beautiful fabrics on the cover and in the tutorial are from their lovely shop. 

Let’s look at Blair first. This pattern comes in sizes 1/2 – 14, see size chart below. Blair is a relaxed a-line raglan with a scooped v-neck. The main body is suitable for knit fabric and the ruffle can be made in a drapey woven or knit. Choose from 3 sleeve lengths- short, 3/4 and long.

Next is the Mama Blair, which perfectly matches the girls Blair pattern. This pattern comes in Women’s sizes Grey – Red 😉 see size chart below. Mama Blair is a scooped v-neck raglan, fitted at chest and straight through hips. The scoop v-neck is very flattering and easy to wear. The silhouettes gives you a slim fit through the chest and waist and straight through the hips. Choose from 3 sleeve lengths- short, 3/4 and long.
