Isabel Sew-a-long: Day 5

Today is Day 5 of our Isabel SAL! If you haven’t already, you can grab the girls’ or the women’s pattern, and check out the existing hacks from the original release. For day 5, we are constructing both our waist ties and our skirt. A few things to remember:

- waist ties are constructed with 1/4″ seam allowance
- depending on your hack and skirt options, your pieces may vary from what’s in the video; for example, you may have two long ties if you’re doing the actual cardi hack, or you may have a closed skirt
- skirt seams are sewn with 1/2″ seam allowance; make sure you are consistent with seam allowances so that your skirt and bodice pieces match up 1:1
