Katy is a knit pattern that features a flattering tie front waist. Perfect for year-round wear with sleeveless, short, long, and a cuffed bishop sleeve option. Choose from a top, mini, above-the-knee dress, or knee-length dress. Includes a mock turtleneck, high scoop, or low scoop neckline. The scoop necklines and sleeveless options are finished with knit bands. All back options have a center seam for a great fit. Great for family photos, holiday events, date night, or everyday wear.

Katy Features:

Suggested Fabrics:

• • •Fabric content will affect the drape and fit.
  • •Drafted for a medium-weight knit with at least 40% stretch horizontally and some vertical stretch.
    • •Sweater knits, rib knits, certain rayon blends, and DBP.
    • •Stable knits with less stretch OR knits with high recovery will feel tighter than intended, but depending on fit preference may still be used (cotton lyrca, liverpool, modal, rayon french terry etc).
    • •Knits with lots of stretch and less recovery may feel looser (waffle knit, sweater knits with little recovery, rayon spandex, etc), but maybe used depending on the desired fit.
    • •Make sure to use a knit with good recovery and stretch for the neckband and cuffs.

  • •Optional: wash away hem tape, knit twin needle.
  • •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler, hem gauge. Ballpoint, stretch, or jersey needle.
