Mira is an athletic knit top full of options. The front bodice has a soft sweetheart neckline and the back bodice is scooped. Choose from a plain or ruched front bodice. The ruching is created with 1/4” elastic. There are 3 plain back hemline options to choose from: a sports bra, crop, or top. The sports bra is fully lined. The plain back crop and top can be finished with your choice of a lining or shelf bra. There is also a cropped open back option that is fully lined. The sports bra and shelf bra are finished with 1” knit elastic that is enclosed in the hemline and optional sewn in cups. Choose from 3 different sleeve options: narrow or wide straps, a cap sleeve, or ruched sleeves. Add clear elastic to the sleeve and neckline for added support. Mira is perfect for the gym, dance class, as a swimsuit, and for everyday wear!

• •Fits natural waist sizes: 23″-57″ or 58.4-134.6 cm.

• •Fits full hip sizes: 34″-64″ or 86.3 – 162.5 cm.

Skill level:

• Intermediate- the ruching, sewing elastic, and straps will be the most difficult steps.

Suggested Fabrics:

• •Fabric content will affect the drape and fit.
• •Drafted for medium weight knits (200gsm +) with 4-way stretch, great recovery, and a minimum 50% horizontal stretch, and 50% vertical stretch. Look for high spandex content, 5% minimum, but I prefer 12%-25%. Note- the higher spandex content and heavier weight knits (250gsm+) will feel tighter and give more compression.
  • •Examples for athletic wear: ribbed athletic knits, athletic brushed poly, nylon spadex, poly spandex, supplex, yoga knit, nylon spandex tricot, poly spandex tricot, ribbed tricot, athletic foiled knit, etc.
  • •Examples for more casual wear: cotton lycra, double brushed poly, thicker ribbed knit, etc.

Notions:

• •Ruched front and ruched sleeve options: 1/4″ knit elastic
• •Sports/shelf bra: 1″ knit elastic
• •1/4″ clear elastic to add support to the waistband.
• •Optional- sewn-in cups
