Thea is a unique knit top with loads of options. The front bodice has 2 pleats on each side of the fitted and shaped front waistband. Choose from 3 necklines: high scoop, low scoop, or a mock turtleneck. There are 2 back options to choose from: solid or peek-a-boo. Both have a center back seam and waistband. The peek-a-boo back is finished with elastic and a tie waistband. Perfect for year-round wear with sleeveless, flutter, cap, short, and a long sleeve. The scoop necklines and sleeveless options are finished with knit binding. The waistband hits at the high hips, perfect for pairing with high-waisted jeans, skirts, or shorts. The shaped waistband, pleats, and peek-a-boo back make Thea not only special but flattering too!

Sizes (includes both imperial and metric measurements):

• •Fits upper bust sizes 31″-53″ or 78.7-134.6 cm
• •Fits full bust sizes 30″-60″ or 76.2-153.4 cm
• •Fits high hip sizes: 29″-63″ or 73.6-160 cm.

Skill level:

• •Intermediate- Sewing the peek-a-boo back and pleats may be difficult for a beginner.

Suggested Fabrics:

• •Fabric content will affect the drape and fit.
• •Drafted for lightweight knits with at least 50% horizontal stretch, and some vertical stretch. Some recovery and good drape are also recommended.
  • •Rayon spandex, bamboo lycra, modal, rib knit, brushed polyester, sweater knit, etc.
  • •Fabrics without good drape such as french terry, cotton lycra, and custom brushed poly are not recommended.
  • •Bindings should have at least 75% stretch and good recovery.

Notions:

• •Peek-a-boo option: 1/2″ knit elastic with 100% stretch
• •Optional but highly recommended: wash away hem tape 
• •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler, marking tool. Ballpoint, stretch, or jersey needle.
