Aria is a stunning knit pattern full of options. Aria can be made simply for everyday wear or dressed up for special occasions, family vacations, or date night!

Women’s Aria Features:

• •Made for knit fabrics.
• •Fitted lined bodice has a racerback.
• •2 bodice length options: empire or natural waist.
• •Choose from 7 gathered skirt options: curved hem top, simple dress, simple midi, simple maxi, tiered dress (2 tiers), tiered midi (3 tiers), or a tiered maxi (3 tiers).
• •Includes both pattern pieces and cut chart (to save on ink) for rectangular pieces.

Sizes (includes both imperial and metric measurements):

• •Fits upper bust sizes 31″-53″ or 78.7-134.6 cm
• •Fits full bust sizes 30″-60″ or 76.2-153.4 cm
• •Fits natural waist sizes: 23″-57″ or 58.4-134.6 cm.
• •Fits full hip sizes: 34″-64″ or 86.3 – 162.5 cm.

Suggested Fabrics:

• •Fabric content will affect the drape and fit.
• •Bodice/skirt fabrics: Drafted for a light medium-weight knit with at least 40% stretch.
  • Cotton lycra, double brushed polyester, bamboo lycra, rayon blends, poly spandex, rib knit, ITY, waffle, etc.
  • Using fabrics with less recovery for the bodice, such as rayon spandex will ‘grow’ with wear and feel looser/longer than the intended fit.
  • If using a knit with less recovery, you may wish to size down if in between sizes and will need to stabilize the bodice and tiered skirt with knit interfacing or clear elastic.

Notions:

• •Optional: 1/2″ wash away hem tape, knit twin needle, 1/4″ or 3/8″ clear elastic or knit fusible interfacing
• •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler, hem gauge, and marking tool. Ballpoint, stretch, or jersey needle.
