I’m so excited to show off this adorable fabric from Riley Blake’s The Pout-Pout Fish fabric line! My kids LOVE The Pout-Pout Fish books, so when I saw this fabric, I knew I had to sew them something. I decided to use our new Pocket Pillow pattern and it was absolutely perfect! Even though the Pocket Pillow is part of our 2018 12 Days of Christmas freebies, it’s a great year-round gift for the readers in your life!
Once I decided on the pillow, I chose the main blue fabric for the main pillow and the alphabet fish in aqua for the pocket.
I also got the undersea alphabet book panel and LOVE it so much.
The soft panel book makes the greatest gift, and is so simple to make. It’s so nice for young ones since they can’t tear the pages, and can chew on it with no problems 😉
The pocket on the pillow is the perfect size for tucking in your new Pout-Pout fish book (or your well-loved copies, too).
This was such a fun project that my kids love! It’s one of our favorite books to read together even as they get older, and I love how fun and bright the fabric is. The real dilemma is going to be which of my kids gets to keep the Pout-Pout Fish pillow in their room 😉
