Thanks for hanging with us this week! I hope you were able to make a Lana, Greta, or both that you love. Sewing custom lingerie can be so rewarding and satisfying, and we hope you feel wonderful in yours! I know it takes attention and work (and sometimes trial-and-error) to get the perfect fit for our body and preference, but hopefully the SAL helped make the process a bit less overwhelming for you.
Still nervous to start? We still always recommend starting with a muslin so you’re not stressed about using your most prized fabric, and ordering a soft knit bra kit from someone like Tailor Made Shop is a GREAT way to take the stress out of the supply list.
Check out our winners below! Usually I would post pictures of their creations, but since we’re sewing lingerie this month I won’t do that to them 😉 You can see their gorgeous creations in our SAL group on FB!
Willetta Wiley’s lace Lana is SO gorgeous. Black lace is on my must-make list. Willetta wins a $100 gift certificate to Tailor Made Shop, a sewing machine necklace from the amazing Katy at Thread and Grain, and a $20 store credit to Made for Mermaids!
Hanna Sandvig created the comfiest-looking gray Lana! I want to make one exactly like it. Hanna wins a sewing machine necklace from Thread and Grain, and a $20 store credit to Patterns for Pirates!
If you still have questions about either Lana or Greta as you’re finishing up (or joining us later), you are always welcome to post in our main Facebook group SAL group so we can help you! Patterns for Pirates will host next month’s SAL, and we will be back in April! Stay tuned to see what’s next 🙂
