Almost done with my daughter’s homecoming dress—just need to hem it!✨ I cut it out last night and sewed it up this morning in less than 90 minutes 💪🏻 This fun stretch sequin fabric from @bluemoonfabrics was a breeze to work with—no need to remove sequins from the seam, and my machine handled it like a champ with a stretch 90/10 needle and a triple stitch. The only tweak I made to the #scarlettpattern was adding an invisible side zip (a must with over a 14” difference between waist and hip!) 🙌 Hoping it fits and she loves it!🤞👗✨ Side note, I could definitely use a more curvy mannequin or I need to pad this one, see the last photo without it clipped in the back 🙃😂
Sequins EVERYWHERE ✨ My cutting table has never been so sparkly! 🪩 Just finished cutting out the pieces for my daughter's silver sequin homecoming dress, and now the real fun begins. She picked the #scarlettpattern (a fave!) and with homecoming this weekend, it's time to hustle!
