When I first saw the pattern, I was unsure about whether it would be flattering to my figure. I sewed up two versions, and WOW! They turned out amazing. In fact, this pattern looks great on every shape and size. And it’s sooooo comfy! The instructions are super easy to follow, and it’s a quick sew. Thanks for the great patterns!!!

This top was so easy to sew and so comfy. It was my first selfish sew and I love it. Made a few adjustments to make it just right for my 5’9″ frame. Can’t wait to make some mom and daughter matching sets for me and my 3 year old.

This is an awesome pattern- an absolute wardrobe staple. Easy to assemble and east to wear! You can’t go wrong with Mama Mya!
I love this top! So far I’ve only made the tunic version but it is so flattering. The way it flares out makes me feel very confident about my body and hides everything I want it to hide. I see this becoming a staple in my wardrobe.
I bought this pattern when it first came out and finally got the time to make it! It is my favorite top I own now. It’s my fist clothing piece I have made and the first selfish sew I have done. As soon as I had the first one done I made another. It is an easy sew with clear directions and a wonderful end result. Bonus, its plus size and mom bod friendly! It is so flattering on every body type i’ve seen it on. A must buy for a staple in any wardrobe.
Mama Maya is an easy and quick sew with fabulous results! It is so comfy and very flattering; it shows of your curves while hiding extra jiggle you don’t want to show off. It is very versatile with all the different options packed into one easy to follow pattern. This is one of my first M4M patterns, and I just love it!

I’ve made this pattern twice with mixed reviews. #1 my top version: turned out fitting okay-ish but there were so many drag marks on the sleeve and neckline. I took the sleeves and neckband off to double check that I cut the correct size (and I did) and tried it again with the same results. I checked my fabric type and it was the right type for this pattern. I took them off AGAIN and went more slowly and it did it AGAIN. I gave up. The top is not for me.
#2 dress: I had slightly more success with this version. I cut size green to my bust measurements. I needed a size bigger for my waist measurement but since this has so much ease there I made the green anyway. It turned out way too big and the arm holes were over an inch too low even with the bands. It’s important to note that I’m 5’2″ and I have issues with RTW clothing when it comes to the armsyce.. I took in 2.5 inches beginning at the armsyce and tapering down until I got to the waist which turned out great (for the armsyce) on one side and not the other (even after meticulously measuring for symmetry). The adjustment did wonders everywhere else. It fit exactly how I wanted it. I may make the dress again with the needed adjustments but as a regular top…… I really dislike it.

This pattern worked well for both a summer top and a winter top with the addition of the cowl and sleeves. This was my first cowl attempt and I liked the instructions. A quick sew once the pueces are cut.

This is my favorite pattern. Quick sew. Instructions are easy to follow. This fit is incredibly flattering. My daughter and I always get more compliments on this style than any other. I love banding the the neck instead of binding. It has work beautifully with many types of fabrics.
