It’s that time again, almost time for back to school! I have a fun FREEBIE for you today, just in time to make your daughter or son a special outfit ๐ย You may not have time to make a whole new wardrobe, but maybe you have time for a quick vinyl!
I have created 2 sets of grade school (preschool to 5th) Mermaid and Pirate files. You can download the cut files here. Use your Cricut or Silhoutte to cut your vinly and then you can add this to an existing tee, dress or whip up one of our many quick patterns to add it to! My daughter chose a Lea dress, one of her favorites, and carefully looked through my fabric stash to find just the right vinyl and fabrics.ย
The bodice is knit the baby pink cotton lycra from Euro Girls Boutique (linked is Frrench terry, it looks like she’s out of cotton lycra). The skirt is a woven Dear Stella printย I’ve been hoarding. My daughter LOVES her dress and I love that this isn’t a specific 1st day of school shirt and she can wear it all year long ๐ She paired her new dress with the shoes I made in the blog post here.
For my son, who the verdict isn’t in on whether or no I’ll actually send him to school this year (waaah), I made a Patterns for Pirates Jolly Rodger Raglan with the preschool Pirate file. ย His 3 year old self was not in the mood for photos, shocking ๐
Here is Brittany’s adorable Tara twist tank with the Kindergarten file. So sweet!
I can’t wait to see what you make! Please share in our FB group or on Instagram, I always ADORE seeing everyone’s creations.
