This is so simple! Such a great scrap buster! Just made 2 in under 1hr (including putting the pattern together) for my fur baby boy. He looks so handsome. The only thing I did differently than the pattern is using elastic and a snap for the neck part. It makes it super easy to get on and off by pulling over his head. The snap is a plastic one for baby onesies that is easy to release on the off chance it gets caught on something but still strong enough to hold while I pull it over his head.
Love the layered look of this so I can use various fabrics for contrast. Overall the best $0 I’ve spent in a very long time.

I LOVE this pattern and tutorial!! I ordered a bowtie on a collar for my pup and it came to me sewn, but in pieces. Grr! I didn’t order a project, I ordered a bowtie for my pup! Could I fix it, sure, but I didn’t order a project and knew I could do better anyway.
FF, I used the patter just for the bowtie part without the neckband. I secured two pieces of elastic to each side of the bow, perpendicular to where the collar or neckband would be. I used them to thread the bowtie on my pupperoo and y’all… You can’t tell him anything! He KNOWS he is incredibly handsome and dapper as Bond. Thank you M4M!!! If I could submit pictures, I would. 10/10!!! <3
