I love the Brooklyn for my daughter! I ended up sizing up because of her measurements, I wanted it to fit a little longer. She loves to wear dresses so often that I have made probably 5 just for winter time! Such an easy and quick pattern to sew up.

I can’t say enough good things about Brooklyn! The fit is spot on It is drafted perfectly. It is adorable when combined with the skirt from the Riley pattern. And it works as well for my 10 year old daughter as it does for my one year old godaughter. It’s a great staple pattern to have in your collection.
Tiffany –
Such an easy sew!! I especially love mashing the bodice with the Riley skirt and how professional the dress looks completed!
Jody –
Love the Brooklyn bodice mashed with the Riley circle skirt. My daughter is only 2 and appreciates the perfectness these patterns create! She instantly starts twirling as soon as she puts on one of her Brooklyn/Riley dresses.

This is my favorite M4M dress. I am new(er) to knits and I tried out the Emma dress before this. I love the Emma and made about five dresses but I had a hard time with the small neckband. This dress’ option for lined makes it so easy to make your dress look professional if you’ve only attempted a few projects with knits. The patterns on this site are so easy to follow as a newbie and this is a beautiful end project. My three year old loves her dressed, especially the Riley circle skirt option! Love, love, love!

Simple and Sweet, the Brooklyn Dress can be dressed down for everyday play or dressed up for a special event. Easy to follow directions and step-by-step photographs aid the sewist through the pattern. Filled with options, the Brooklyn dress pattern includes pattern pieces for an optional pocket and shoulder flutter. The Brooklyn dress is also a nested, layered pattern with no-trim pattern pieces (only print and assemble the size that you need- love that!). Great overall fit and true to size! I <3 the Brooklyn Dress!!!

Love this pattern! Great fit and I love the option for the top to be lined–it makes it a great base for an applique or embroidery. The circle skirt from the Riley fits perfectly, too. The no trim pages and easy assembly makes this a super fast project, too.
