I bought this because I needed a bathing suit for my post partum body. It was easy to grade and sew and i am very pleased with the outcome!

I LOVE this pattern. I’ve now made both regular and crop length, as well as lined and unlined. The cropped length is my favorite. It fits great, sees up easily, and looks so cute on my very easily sunburnt and postpartum body. Once finished this pattern looks sporty, and not frumpy. I can’t recommend enough!

I really like the pattern, and as others have said in their reviews, it is an easy sew and with my usual alterations (FBA, shorten, remove excess curviness from waist-hips, etc,) turned out quite cute – with one issue, and for me it is a HUGE issue. I will wear this as a sun shirt, to protect my delicate, sunburn prone skin. The front neckline exposes way too much of my decollete. I had to raise the front neck by over two inches at the center front to fully cover my chest. I inserted a piece that looked like a huge smile, and the sun shirt is now fully wearable, but for those of you who intend to wear it as wearable sunscreen (made from UPF 50 fabric of course) consider raising the neckline on the pattern piece before you cut fabric. It is always easy to remove excess fabric, but challenging to repair when more fabric is needed.
