We’re sewing up the side seams of our hoodies today! The cooler weather I was experiencing earlier this week was a total false alarm, by the way. Back to burning up, today! 🙂
Today’s step is super quick and easy! We are just closing up our side seams. Only two days left, and then we’ll have tackled the Hudson Hoodie!
Don’t forget:
- Seam allowance for sewing your side seams is 1/2″
- I like to place clips at the armpit, the bottom raw edge, and the sleeve raw edge, and then pin along the remainder of the side seam
Want to sew along with me? Check out today’s video!
If you have questions about stitching up the side seams, you are always welcome to post in our SAL group so we can help you! Be sure to check in each day during the SAL, and look for daily posts to enter our giveaways. We can’t wait to see what you create this week!
