Now let’s talk about the patterns! We’ll start with Mama Bridgette.

I LOVE the lace bralette trend happening right now. The only problem is ready to wear bralettes do NOT fit me. To get it large enough in my bust, the shoulders start falling off and the under bust is huge. Wait, what’s a bralette you ask??? A bralette is an adorable piece you wear to cover your normal (ugly 😉 ) bra so you can wear all the on-trend off the shoulder, low and open back pieces you want. I wanted to include several sizes, cups and backs so there will be options for everyone and every outfit. It will fit full bust sizes 29.5″ to 51″. It also includes sewing cups A-G for every size. (Note sewing cup sizes are NOT the same as RTW, so check the sizing chart!)

You can choose a bralette-

Or a nightie. The nightie has 3 skirt options- closed sides, side vents or open sides.

Choose from 3 back options. Racerback-

Cross back-

Or full back, which covers your bra straps perfectly.

You can use double galloon stretch lace-

Stretch mesh-

Stretch lace-

 

Stretch velvet-

ANY knit with at least 30% stretch and a stretch lace trim or FOE to finish the edges. It makes a great every day nightie and would be wonderful for a nursing mama!

Now moving on to Mama Victoria!

Mama Victoria is based off my favorite RTW undies I wear every day! I love the wide lace waistband on the thong and cheekies are so comfy for sleeping… and a little sexy too 😉 These take very little time, fabric and supplies. Plus you can use scraps from your Bridgette or favorite knit outfits for matching undies, yay! It includes sizes for full hips 33″ to 54″.

You can use double galloon stretch lace for the cheekies or thong.

You can also use any knit fabric with at least 30% stretch for the cheekies and main piece of thongs.

The thong uses a wide stretch lace for the waistband. Which means QUICK and comfy!

Both cheekies and thong have an optional lining.

I hope you ladies all love these new pieces as much as we do. They were a lot of fun to create and our testers worked so hard helping perfect the patterns. They are so brave testing and modeling these for you all, so give them around of applause in the Facebook group! Trust me, no matter what size, it’s NOT easy posting these photos of yourself, but I do hope it encourages and maybe empowers you to try these for yourself.
