Today is our last sewing day of the Loren SAL! We’re going to attach the cups to the bottom, and then attach the waist elastic.
Baste your cups to the waist first; match up raw edges with right sides together, and baste with 1/4″ seam allowance. Then, attach your knit or clear elastic with a 3/8″ seam allowance. After attaching your elastic, fold back toward the wrong side, and top stitch. That’s it! Your Loren is all finished!
Don’t forget:
- Seam allowances vary
- Use a stretch stitch for all construction/topstitching; you don’t need a stretch stitch for basting stitches, since you will remove those stitches
