Nothing says spring quite like Me Made May (and at Made for Mermaids, Me Made MERMay!) in the sewing community. The idea of Me Made May is that each day during the month of May, you wear at least one piece of clothing that *you* made. This week is a round up of the first seven days from our gorgeous team of mermaids! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing some of our customer favorites too. We LOVE seeing what you make each day, and are so thankful that you choose to share your creations with us on social media!

Week 1 Round Up:

CATALINA

Michelle is up first with the Catalina Cover Up! This is such a simple, quick pattern from the Resort Collection – an easy way to use up those sheer scraps!

LULU + FINLEY

Lulu + Finley are some of our favorite patterns from the Barbelle Collection. Nicole’s set is so cute, and we even love the ulu paired with your favorite denim.

PRIMROSE

Even though warm weather is on the horizon, there are still plenty of chilly nights ahead! Primrose would be perfect for sitting around a fire.

WINNIE

Winnie shorts are a comfy closet staple, whether you’re running errands, working out, or just lounging around!

EVERLY

Everly is PERFECT transition piece to use all month long; just throw on over a tank in the mornings or evenings when its a bit cooler. I need to copy Michelle’s look immediately!

GOLDIE

We love a subtle themed outfit! Megan made this Goldie using her son’s baseball team colors, bur it’s great for everyday casual wear too.

 

NATALYA

Heading to an event this month? Natalya makes a great LBD. Multiple hemlines make it so versatile for so many occasions – where would you wear this version?
