I have made several of the off the shoulder version. It was one of the first tops I sewed in a knit and I felt like such a success. The patterns are super easy to follow with helpful photos. I love Made for Mermaids!

This is my favorite top to wear! I have made quite a few and they are so easy to make, even for a beginner. The off the shoulder style is comfortable and feminine. It’s a must have for everyone’s wardrobe!!
Amanda Wood –
I love the Mama Stella pattern! I am a size red and made the off shoulder my first time with a double brushed poly. I was able to get a fitted look by using that fabric. Then I made another that was just plain long sleeves out of rayon spandex that is so comfy! That one has the intended look. Both were extremely easy to sew up and very comfortable to wear!
As a little tip on the off shoulder version: if you line up the seam of the neck band with the seam of the 1 shoulder, you can change which shoulder you wear it off of!
Ashley –
