These adorable slippers are just in time for Christmas! Whether you need a stocking stuffer for your little (or big!) ones, a Secret Santa gift, the finishing touch for a spa gift package, or more, the Sleepy Slipper will be a perfect addition to your gift list.
The Sleepy Slipper comes in a wide range of sizes, from baby to adult XL! See the size chart below for sizing information.
Included in the pattern are a non-slip option, color block option, and 3 different animal ear options. It also includes nine HTV faces, but you can get creative with hand embroidery, an embroidery machine, felt, buttons, pom poms, and more to make the perfect face for your slippers. Wondering what faces are included?
There are nine animal faces with three different ear options. Even if you don’t have a way to cut heat transfer vinyl, you can use loads of other craft materials to make the perfect animal face on your Sleepy Slippers. Check out a few examples of each animal below!

Get create to create custom slippers for anyone on your list! Our tester Allison used the long ears (sewn in point instead of rounded) and color blocked the front of the ear to create pikachu! You can create so many different characters and animals with a few adjustments.
Jillian lengthed the cat ears and made this amazing Yoda pair!
Made your slippers and now you’re wondering what other patterns would complete your gift?! Try our {free!} Sleep Mask, our Spencer Robe (youth, men’s, women’s), one of our comfy pillow covers with a favorite book, or even our Drawstring Pouch to wrap up some spa goodies.
Our testers and team had so much fun adding embellishments, and playing around with fabric types! Some of our favorite fabrics included fleece, cuddle, sequins (for the outside of non-reversible!), sherpa, faux fur, minky, and other soft and fluffy options. Flannel worked well for faces on the color blocked or sole pieces, but we wouldn’t recommend for the entire slipper. You can also find non-slip fabric in the utility section of many fabric stores. Can’t find any? You can create your own by applying hot glue or puff paint dots to the sole of your slipper.
We hope the Sleepy Slipper pattern helps round out your Christmas list. We can’t wait to see which options you sew up, and how you customize for your friends and family! Don’t forget to share with us in our Facebook group. Happy sewing!
