Day 5 is our last sewing day! Today we’re going to attach our cuffs and waistband.
Don’t forget:
- seam allowance is 1/2″; if you take a smaller seam allowance, your neckband will be wider than intended. We often see people only use what the serger typically cuts off as their seam allowance; this is less than 1/2″ 🙂
- seam allowance is already included on the paper pattern pieces AND in the cut chart measurements provided
- use a fabric with good recovery for your bands/cuffs, or they may not attach as easily and/or may stretch out over time
