I was so excited to be a part of the Designer Pattern Swap! I don’t always have time to sew up other designers’ patterns, even though I ALWAYS want to and buy so many…they are too cute to pass up and I have good intentions!! However, I am usually working on my own patterns, so this helped me MAKE time to try a new to me designer, Pollywoggles. Heidi’s Primrose Anne pattern is just adorable! I truely love this pattern and how my dress turned out!
Nitty gritty of the pattern:
*Sizes 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 2T, 3T, 4T, 5, 6, 7 and 8
*1 pattern piece to print, an arm hole cut out, all sizes on 1 page. Everything else is cut from a chart in the tutorial.
*Elastic casing back, means easy fit and on/off for getting dressed.
*Straps are completely adjustable and can be tied several ways through loops in the front and center back.
*Skirt is not too full and an easy wear for everyday.
*Double ruffle on the bottom hem is twirly and adorable.
My favorite things about the pattern were the straps…I mean how cute are those???
Very easy for my daughter to wear and play in.
It has great coverage- on top, under the arms and back!
No buttons or zips, so easy sew.
I love being able to use a cutting chart and not having to print a lot of pieces. Again I sew during nap time and this really saves so much time! You can start right away, yay!
I used Heather Ross far far away fabric I’ve been holding on to for just the right dress!
Now here comes a picture overload… with lots of twirling 🙂
OK OK, I’m sorry!! I warned you about the picture overload 😉 There are lots of sale codes in the main post on Pattern Revolution AND a HUGE gievaway!! Yay!! Check it all out! Heidi has the Primrose Anne on for $4.00 April 22 & 23 on Craftsy and Etsy – no coupon code needed!

There are a lot of options in this pattern, but with summer approaching I chose to do the bubble shorts, and I absolutely had to include the cute knot pocket option. I had some nautical fabric that was perfect for this design and I couldn’t resist pairing it with some awesome big red buttons.
