We’ve arrived at Day 3 of our Oaklynn sew-a-long! Not too challenging of a day today – we’re going to sew up our sleeve seams, and our side seams. These steps will be the same, regardless of the options you chose.
Don’t forget:
- Make sure you are taking an accurate and consistent seam allowance; seam allowance for both steps is 1/2″
- You can baste your pieces first if you’re worried about matching up all of your color block seams!
- Sew slowly over the color block seams to reduce the odds of shifting/moving around

If you have questions about sewing up your sleeves or side seams, you are always welcome to post in our SAL group so we can help you! Be sure to check in each day during the SAL, and look for daily posts to enter our giveaways. We can’t wait to see what you create this week!
