Hi, mermaids! We’re so happy to be one of the stops on the Riley Blake Wild Bouquet by Citrus & Mint Project Tour! I had such a hard time narrowing down my fabric choices, because they are so gorgeous (especially the florals!). I opted for blue color theme, since my daughter doesn’t have a lot of blue in her wardrobe already.
After I decided on blue, I knew the Wild Bouquet Main Navy would make the perfect skirt for a Molly top or tunic. I love pattern mixing, and the Molly pattern lends itself well to just that. For coordinates, I chose Wild Bouquet Plaid Blue and Wild Bouquet Raspberries Navy.
The Blue Plaid made for the sweetest flutters, and I’m so glad I chose the Raspberries in Navy for the bodice and straps. I paired Molly with our Hailey ruffle pants; it’s the perfect outfit to transition into fall! She can easily layer with a cardigan, or wear a Stacey top underneath, but she’ll be perfectly comfortable during the day when it’s still hitting 80s and low 90s!
Of course, if you make a Molly at our house, you’re also going to need to make a Dolly Molly! I used our {free} Barnacle Buddy pattern for this Dolly, and used the 18″ pattern for both Dolly Molly and Dolly Hailey.
I just love how sweet they both look in the blue floral! I might need to order the same main floral in Merlot, too! Be sure to take a look at the whole collection and let us know which fabric is your favorite. 🙂 Need a woven pattern to show off your Riley Blake?
