Skill level:

• •Beginner- Very new beginners may want to choose the knit band option, which is a little simpler than the knit binding option.

Suggested Fabrics:

• •Fabric content will affect the drape and fit.
  • •Knits that have less recovery, such as rayon spandex, tend to ‘grow with wear’ and may fit looser/larger.
  • •The racerback option will hang lower through the armscyes.
  • •Fabrics with less vertical stretch will sit higher throughout the armscyes and hems.
• •Drafted for light to medium weight knits with at least 20% stretch, good recovery, and good drape such as double brushed poly, tri-blend, cupro, modal, rib knit, rayon spandex, bamboo lycra, ITY, jersey, burnout knit, stretch mesh, etc.
• •For binding and bands – knit fabric with 50% stretch and good recovery.

• •Optional – 1/2″ wash away hem tape
• •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler, hem gauge, and marking tool. Ball point, stretch, or jersey needle. Knit twin needle optional.
