Women’s Sage Features:

• •Made for knit fabrics.
• •Semi-fitted at the bust and loose through the waist and hips for a very flattering and easy fit.
• •6 hemline options:  straight mini, curved dress, curved midi, straight midi, curved maxi, and straight maxi.
• •2 color block maxi options: curved or straight.
• •4 split hem options: low (below the knee), mid (above the knee), high (below the booty), or extra-high (at the hip).
• •3 neckline options: high scoop, low scoop, or low v-neck.
• •4 sleeve options: sleeveless, short, 3/4, and long sleeves.
• •Optional inseam pockets to any option (but tunic).

Suggested Fabrics:

• •Fabric content will affect the drape and fit.
• •Main fabric- Drafted for a lightweight knit with at least 40% stretch and a good drape.
  • Rayon spandex, jersey, rayon french terry, ITY, modal, bamboo lycra, brushed poly, tri-blend, cupro, etc.
  • Knits that have less recovery, such as rayon spandex, tend to ‘grow with wear’ and may fit looser/larger.
  • Medium or heavyweight fabrics, poly french terry, or fabrics with strong recovery (such as cotton lycra) will not drape well and are not recommended.
• •Neckband fabric- choose a fabric with good stretch and recovery.
  • If using a knit with less recovery for your neckband, such as rayon spandex or rib knit with less recovery, you may need to adjust the length of your neckband.

Notions:

• •Optional: 1/2″ wash away hem tape, knit twin needle, 1/4″-1/2″ clear or knit elastic and/or 1″ knit interfacing to stabilize the shoulder and color-blocked seams.
• •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler, hem gauge, and marking tool. Ballpoint, stretch, or jersey needle.
