Shelly is a fun and stylish, one-piece swimsuit!

Women’s Shelly Features:

• •Made for swim knit fabrics.
• •Fully lined one-piece swimsuit with the look of a bikini.
• •Center front has a ruched bodice with elastic enclosed straps.
• •Choose a plain bodice or add a ruffle.
• •Optional shelf bra and/or cups for added support.
• •Choose from 5 strap widths for your preferred support: 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, or 1.5″.
• •The bottom front has a high waist and the back is full coverage.
• •Choose a full back or cut-out back bodice. The cut-out back has the look of a bikini with the ease of a one-piece. The solid back can be made will fully enclosed seams.
• •Video tutorial included.

Sizes (includes both imperial and metric measurements):

• •Fits upper bust sizes 31″-53″ or 78.7-134.6 cm
• •Fits full bust sizes 30″-60″ or 76.2-153.4 cm
• •Fits natural waist sizes: 23″-57″ or 58.4-134.6 cm
• •Fits full hip sizes: 34″-64″ or 86.3 – 162.5 cm

Suggested Fabrics:

• •For the swimsuit:
  • •Drafted for swim knits and swim lining.
    • •Nylon spandex (traditional swim knit) or polyester spandex blends.
    • •You can line the swimsuit with swim knit or they make specific swim lining material.
• •For optional added support:
  • •Power mesh or power net
  • •Underbust elastic:
    • •You may use 3/8“, 1/2“, or 3/4“. 3/8“ will be the least bulky, but offer the least amount of support, while 3/4” will be the bulkiest and offer the most amount of support. Determine the level of support you would like and choose a size.
  • •Sew in bra/swim cups (soft molded are the easiest to work with).

Notions:

• •Choose one (depending on what strap width you want): 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, or 1.5″ swim elastic
• •3/8″ swim elastic for all options
• •Polyester thread
• •Optional: wooly nylon or maxilock stretch thread for your loopers (if using a coverstitch machine)
• •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler, hem gauge, and marking tool. Ballpoint, stretch, or jersey needle in size 9-11.
