Amalfi is an incredibly versatile, fully lined, and reversible 3-piece swimsuit. The cross-over top is made with 2 separate bodice pieces, layered on top of each other, and the bottoms complete the 3 piece swimsuit. The cross-over style top is flattering and comfortable. For maximum versatility, there is no front or back on the bodices, so you can flip and wear it several different ways. On the bottoms, you can choose from a low or high leg line option. Both leg lines have a slightly cheeky back. Choose to sew 1 or 2 tie pieces to complete your swimsuit. Use the tie/s to change the look of your suit, making it look like a wrap style, bikini, halter, and more. Amalfi is the ultimate travel and capsule swimsuit of your dreams!

Skill level:

• •Intermediate- Sewing a reversible garment requires several rolling steps that are difficult for beginner sewists. Sewing swim fabric may be tricky along with adding elastic to the seams.

Suggested Fabrics:

• •Swim Knit: Nylon Spandex (traditional swim knit) or Polyester Spandex blends.
• •Optional interlining for added support: power mesh or power net.
• •1/4″ or 3/8” Cotton Braided Swim Elastic

Notions:

• •Polyester Thread. Optional- Wooly Nylon or Maxilock Stretch Thread for your loopers if using a
  coverstitch machine.
• •Basics: pins or clips, scissors or rotary cutter, ruler, hem gauge, marking tool. Ball point, stretch, or jersey needle, in size 9-11.
