Isadora is a knit empire waist pattern FULL of options. The bodice is lined with three front neckline options: a high neck and a v-squared neck in high or low. The back neckline for all options is a scoop back. Choose from a fitted skirt, swing skirt, or fitted romper bottom. Both skirt options have four lengths: mini, dress, midi, or maxi. The fitted skirt has optional side slits. You can add one or two slits, and there are 3 height options: high, mid, or low. The romper is fitted and includes two short inseams: 3″ or 4.5″ and three pant inseams: 28″, 30″, or 32″. All options have optional cut-outs. You can add small or large cut-outs to any option. Choose from 6 sleeve options: sleeveless, cap, elbow length, long, and short or long flutter. With so many options, you can mix and match to create an Isadora for any occasion.

Skill level:

• • NON-CUT-OUT VERSIONS: Confident beginner- the burrito rolling of the tank will be the most difficult for a true beginner.
• • SLEEVED CUT-OUT VERSIONS: Confident beginner- the rolling of the cut-outs to enclose the waistline will be the most difficult.
• • SLEEVELESS CUT-OUT VERSIONS: Intermediate/very confident beginner- the rolling of the side seams and cut-outs will be the most difficult.

Suggested Fabrics:

• •Fabric content will affect the drape and fit.
• •Choose a medium-weight knit with at least 50% stretch horizontally and 50% vertical stretch.
  • •Fabrics like double brushed poly, rib knits with lots of recovery, cotton spandex, high quality modal or bamboo lycra.
  • •Fabric with a softer drape and more vertical stretch, like rayon lycra, will ‘grow’ with wear and feel looser/longer than the intended fit.

Notions:

• •Optional: 1/4″ clear elastic for added support
• •Optional- 1/2″ interfacing or knit hem tape for hemming.
• •Basics: thread, pins or clips, scissors, ruler, hem gauge, safety pin or bodkin, and marking tool. Ball point, stretch, or jersey needle.
