The Tatum Pattern is an on-trend knit pattern with a fun asymmetrical design! The unique one-piece front twists on the off-the-shoulder side, while the untwisted side can be worn on or off the shoulder. Both sides gather into the upper back bodice for a beautiful draped effect. Tatum includes a built-in shelf bra finished with exposed elastic, plus an optional inner lining for added support and optional removable cups for extra coverage. Choose from 4 lengths: crop, top, mini, or dress. Perfect for date nights, family photos, going out, and more, Tatum is a quick sew that can look completely different depending on your fabric choice.

• •Fits natural waist sizes: 23″-57″ or 58.4-134.6 cm.
• •Fits hips sizes: 34″-64″ or 86.3-162.6 cm.

Suggested Fabrics:

• •Tatum is drafted for light to medium weight knits with at least 50% horizontal stretch, 40% vertical stretch, and good recovery. You need something with 4-way stretch for the neckline twist to fit correctly. Something with a softer drape and more vertical stretch, like a very light rayon, modal, or bamboo spandex knits tend to ‘grow’ with wear and feel looser and more drapey along the neckline. I love this look, but if you don’t want it to feel looser, use something with more weight. Something thicker, like a custom cotton lycra, will fit tighter.
  • •Double brushed poly, bamboo lycra, modal, ribbed knit, ITY, etc.

Notions:

• •1/4″ clear elastic
• •1″ or 1.5″ knit elastic for the shelf bra
• •Optional- fusible knit interfacing, 1/2″ wonder under or knit hem tape
• •Basics: iron, marking tool, ruler, snips, thread, pins or clips, scissors or rotary cutter, hem gauge.
