The Youth Ollie pattern is a knit top with a fun, open back design. The long ties thread through the back casing to create a gathered, adjustable circular opening. The back casing is finished with a simple facing. The extra-long ties crisscross across the back, wrap to the front, then tie into a bow at the center back. Choose from 2 banded neckline options: high or scoop. Perfect for year-round wear, Ollie includes 3 sleeve options: banded sleeveless, short sleeve, or long sleeve. Ollie is the perfect addition to your athletic or everyday wardrobe!

Suggested Fabrics:

• •Ollie is drafted for light to medium weight knits with at least 50% horizontal stretch, 40% vertical stretch, and good recovery. Something with a softer drape and more vertical stretch, like a very light rayon spandex and some waffle knits tend to ‘grow’ with wear and feel looser/longer than the intended fit. You want something with good recovery for the neckband and sleeveless bands. Something thicker with more spandex (10% spandex, thicker athletic knit or custom cotton lycra) will feel tighter.
  • •Ribbed knits, jersey knits, cotton lycra, bamboo lycra, athletic knits, modal, DBP, etc.

• •Optional- fusible knit interfacing, 1/2″ wonder under or knit hem tape
• •Basics: iron, marking tool, ruler, snips, thread, pins or clips, scissors or rotary cutter, hem gauge.
