The basis of this pattern is a true to size, well fitting short which looks great on its own. When topped with the skirt front, it adds a level of versatility to your casual wardrobe.
I ended up making a few tweaks to the pattern for my height and flat rear, then unpicked the darts and added elastic to the back for a pair of pull-on skirted front shorts that are fantastic in a left over scrap of fun cotton floral with a bit of spandex (for comfort).
Very happy with this pattern and see several more making their way into my wardrobe.
